Shower hoses

Shower hoses connect the components of a shower and allow the hand shower to be used freely while bathing. Types of shower hoses - shower and connecting hoses

When choosing a shower hose, consider its purpose and length. Laveo offers both models for connecting a hand shower and shorter hoses designed to connect a mixer to shower components.

• 150 cm shower hoses - provide freedom when using the hand shower. This popular length is suitable for many standard shower sets.
• 150-180 cm extendable hoses - can be extended during use. They are useful when a greater hand shower reach is needed, for example when rinsing the shower enclosure walls or cleaning the bath.
• 70 cm connecting hoses - are used to connect a mixer to the shower. Their shorter design allows the connection to be made without using a long hose intended for the hand shower.

Before purchasing, check the type of end fittings and the thread size. For example, Arno hoses use standard 1/2" connections, allowing them to fit many available mixers and shower components.

Shower hose with a hose anti-twist system - greater freedom of movement

A hose can twist while the shower is being used, especially if the hand shower is turned frequently. The hose anti-twist system helps to reduce this problem, allowing freer movement and reducing the risk of kinks.

Shower hose materials - steel, PVC and silicone

The material affects the flexibility of the hose, how it is cleaned and its contact with bathroom surfaces. The Laveo range includes several solutions:

• Steel-braided hoses - use a flexible inner tube and metal braiding. This design is used in extendable Arno models, among others.
• PVC hoses - have a smooth surface that makes deposits and dirt easier to remove. One example is the Tanaro model, which is also intended for use near delicate surfaces such as acrylic.
• Silicone-coated hoses - are flexible and easy to keep clean. The Pretto model uses silicone coated EPDM rubber.

Black, chrome and gold Laveo shower hoses

A shower hose can be colour-matched to the mixer, hand shower and other components in the bathing area.
